08/09/10 Switched to a new FX broker and starting a new DEMO account.
06/20/10 By using the chart settings of http://www.fapturbo-broker.com in Germany, I have lost 90 percent of my portfolio, I am switching to a new program I just found, a Color Coded Indicator, which tells me when to buy and when to sell manually. More in few days.
05/14/10 UPDATE: On Thursday one trade went south, and left us minus 35%. Ouch!
05/08/10 UPDATE: Enough talk. I've tweaked, I've researched, I've consulted, I've learned, and I'm ready to stop using the company's Demo Account. I have closed the Demo account I've been practicing with since March 19th. On Monday May 10th we go live, meaning we play for real. Real money, no demo.
On March 19, 2010: I decided to try my luck at FX (Forex or foreign exchange currency) trading using an automatic robot (called an EA program) to do the trading for me since I am no expert at this by no means. It is going to be interesting to see how things go over the next few weeks and hopefully make money. You can literally lose the shirt off your back with this kind of stuff in minutes. So stay tuned!
Please don't ask me what program I am using to do the trading for me. I remember back to the late 1960s when I was in Wilson Wallace's office (a local well known attorney here in Ardmore - now deceased) and saw a plaque on the wall behind him that read:
"A lawyer's time and advice are his stock in trade." -Abraham Lincoln
For the time being I am going to apply the above from Old Abe here. If the FX program works it will be my stock-in-trade. I will let everyone know what the "finders fee" will be to find out the name of the program at some future date, if anyone is interested. There are several dozen FX programs out there, some good, some not so good, so buyer beware.
Check back often to see how the trading strategies go every week (no trading on weekends).
