MANNSVILLE -- Services for Ola Andrew Martin Dry, 87, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mannsville First Baptist Church with Ken McCarthick officiating.

Interment will be at Russett Cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home.

Mrs. Dry died Aug. 12, 1997, in the Ardmore hospital. She was born Dec. 18, 1909, at Tishomingo.

Reared at Russett, she married Ernest Frank Dry May 3, 1925, at Madill, and they lived in Russett until 1937 before moving to Mannsville, where they owned and operated a grocery store 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church, active in teaching Sunbeams, G.A., R.A, and Y.W.A. missions classes. She was also active in the Johnston and Marshall County Baptist Association, serving as association director six years.

She was preceded in death by her husband April 11, 1974; two sons, Donald and Billy; a daughter, Betty Kelley; a sister, Opal Burton; three brothers, Audrey, Lee and Hilrey Martin; a grandson; and great-grandson.

Survivors include two brothers, Jack Martin, Louisville, Ky., and Don Martin, Ada; two sisters, Serena James, Everett, Wash., and Jo Clark, Tishomingo; three grandsons; and six great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be John Brock, Nolen Anderson, Jimmy Edwards, Wes Waggoner, Dan Childs and Lyndal Barnes. Honorary bearers are Doyle Pryor, L.B. Edwards, Ruben Weems, Mutt Cothran, J.E. Marsh and Willie Scaggs.
