• MANNSVILLE -- Services for Dan Lavoy Gray, 56, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Mannsville Baptist Church with Kenneth McCarthick officiating.

Interment will be at Willis Cemetery under the direction of Watts Funeral Home. Gary was born July 31, 1943, at Willis, to Ollie and Lela Cryer Gray. He died May 31, 2000, in the Ardmore hospital.

Reared at Russett, he had lived in the Mannsville-Madill area 30 years and was a mechanic for Gray's Garage. As a stockcar driver he was points winner in 1999 at Lake Country Speedway. He was a member of Mannsville Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dustin L., of the home, and Danny J., Fort Worth, Texas; a daughter, Brandi Shumaker, Ardmore; four sisters, Margie Forguson and Leoma McClung, Russett, Geneva Rigney and Betty Green, Mannsville; four brothers, Tommy, Noble, Donald, Newalla, Charles and Ernest, Mannsville; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ollie and Carl.

Bearers will be Kenneth Hillis, Ronnie Vick, David Bynum, Joe Windom, Richard Parkhill and Weldon Barnes.
