• BAUM -- Services for James Roy Morgan Jr., 60, Mannsville, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Baum Assembly of God Church with M.E. Dickerson and Billy Bowles officiating.

Interment will be at Lone Cedar Cemetery. Morgan was born July 19, 1940, at Bethel, to James R. and Mattie P. Altum Morgan. He died Dec 27, 2000, at his residence.

Reared at Russett, he had lived in the Greasy Bend area since age 20 and was employed by the Madill Record as a printer and pressman for several years. He was a member of Baum Assembly of God Church and Oklahoma Press Association.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; and son, Randy, Ardmore; a daughter, Adrienne Mize, Mannsville; three brothers, Don, Gainesville, Texas, Jesse and Henry, Madill; a sister, Thelma Gentry, Pueblo, Colo.; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Orville, Clyde, Earnest and Charles; and a granddaughter. Bearers will be Lawrence and Devyrle Ingle, Doug Gentry, Bobby Crook, Chano Bargas and Don Garrison. Memorials may be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, Ardmore.

Visitation will be this evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Watts Funeral Home.
