Oda Leona Richardson

• DOUGHERTY -- Services for Oda Leona Richardson, 87, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Dougherty Church of Christ with Hubert L. Fultz and the Rev. Willard McCartney Jr. officiating.

Interment will be in the Mannsville Cemetery, under the direction of Clagg Funeral Home. Mrs. Richardson was born Oct. 12, 1912, in Swink, to John Wesley and Maud Gregory Easley. She died July 18, 2000, in Ardmore.

Mrs. Richardson grew up in Mannsville, attended school at Russett and Joy before moving to Dougherty, where she graduated. On June 15, 1930, she married C.H. "Buck" Benn. She later married Loy E. "Rich" Richardson on April 20, 1957. He preceded her in death on Oct. 25, 1966.

She also was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Rose Easley; two brothers, Doyal Easley and Dexter Wesley Easley; and a great-grandson. Mrs. Richardson was the Dougherty Postmistress for 43Þ years, past president of the Oklahoma Postmaster Association and past secretary of the National Postmasters League. She was a longtime member of the Dougherty Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan Riddle, Tahlequah; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Dougherty Church of Christ.
